Yup, our group here in Martin, Palm beach county use channel 4 but the idiots on channel 6 make it useless as they are running so much power that they bleed over in to channel 4. While trail riding last weekend we all were on 4 with 15 Jeeps spread out 300 yards, could not hear the lead Jeep due to the channel 6 trash. I installed a dual band ham radio and have been a ham since 1986 (N4UNT) I know everyone use's CB's as they are cheap but feel that sooner or later most Jeep clubs will become hams and switch over to a much better radio.
