Failed to mention... Mine is a smaller cobra.. so that may play havoc with your plans... Mine in no way blocks the rear view mirror

I have my 29 mounted in the glovebox there was no where else to put it

Hey that looks nice! Do you have any pictures showing where you put the flat channel that goes to the center loop on the windshield? I might try making a setup like yours this weekend.

The mirror is in the original location. This install requires you to remove the top cover from the radio. Then you also remove the header from the Jeep. Then you drill 2-4 holes through both together, then use small bolts and both the two together.

You gotta commit to this install cause there's gonna be holes on the top of the radio cover but I hope to have this JK for a LONG time.

When not in use, it's unnoticeable as I have the mic under my seat.

As for theft, well they're really gonna have to tear it outa there cause it's a darn near permanently mounted.

Do you hace any pics of the install process?, so you are telling me that I will have to drill the cb cover so I can mount it above the mirror? I mean 2 new holes to the cb..

I really like how this location looks... the only concern is that it's not hidden and you can see it from the outside and my JK is my daily driver (not theft proof ), but I really like this CB so much that I don't want to hide it !
