Nice clean install (pictures are nice too). The magnet idea is ingenious, though I'd be a little concerned with it being so close to your radio. Is that a Wilson antenna on the bonnet?

i like it.... no holes... and its hidden.... i put a black winter hat on it when i dont use it... you cant see it from outside...

FWIW, Iv got a Cobra 18 WXSTII mounted on the drivers side of the counsel and the ham radio on the dash.
Works great.

Default CB mount

Check out the Arizona Rocky Road web site for their mount. I have it installed in my Unlimited and it is fantastic. I also purchased the antenna mount and had zero problems with grounding and calibrating the SWR.

I have tints in mine, but I do the same when I get out, just put a hat over it

Thanks! Not had any probs with the radio from it at all and it's been there a few months now. Yes, the antenna is a K40 quick release with magmount.
