i've run a lot of cb's over the years and can tell you that the cobra 29 or it's bluetooth version is the one i would recommend.

I use the 75 just because it's easily tossed under the seat, in the center console or in the glove box. I got it on sale for $75. I think they're normally $90-$100ish. I can't understand a word anyone says on it, but my wife seems to be able to understand it okay.

Doojer, your problem sounds like an adjustment issue? ---> I have no complaints with mine... and understand people on the other end just fine

For the price I am very happy with mine

LOL, a hearing adjustment issue! I can't understand a word anyone says when they are standing right next to me. I've never used a CB that I can understand.... my hearing is just crap. But, like I said, my wife seems to be able to tell what everyone is saying so she sits there and translates for me. No idea what I would do if I went on a run by myself.

Doojer, get a 3 foot extension for the Aux jack in the stereo. I ran mine from under the glove box (where the 75 unit is) through my dash under the passenger vent. I can plug it in and listen through the driver's radio speaker. Then take it to 30!

Me, too. The 75 makes for nice, well-integrated install--doesn't look add-on at all.
