Cool CB through stereo.....easy

Run a cable from your CB external speaker jack to the JK's AUX jack on the stereo. Done, nothing to it. I have a cobra sound tracker and the sound quality of the factory stereo is a great improvement over the CB's little speaker.

Good idea but... can you have both the CB AND the radio on at the same time?

I saw a mod a long time ago that would allow both the radio and CB to work at the same time. If the CB came on, the radio would cut out. Worked well, unless the squelch wasn't set right. Anyone know of such a mod on the JKs?

I don't know if there is a way to run them both at the same time without getting a seperate external speaker for the CB. The way described will not let you hear both the CB and stereo at the same time.

As an FYI, N2Rock posted this, so that the CB will go through ALL your factory speakers (not just the front left). Just get a mono-to-stereo plug:

The stereo would be set to AUX. So no, you would not hear the radio, cd, or sat.

yeah it would...the lower right headphone jack is your Aux port. Same one you can plug your iPod in to. You can switch to it just like you can any other media choice.

Default its possible

there is a possible work around but its possible that a after market radio would have to be used.

on my alpine i can use 2 channels. its really for the backseat people when they are looking at the dvd monitors. i can chose to direct the dvd, external sources, radio...to the top speakers while playing what i want with the front speakers...great idea but i have no jack on the headunit to do that but if i did i would be able to use 2 functions on the radio at the same time,
