Default Coax cable routing?

Okay, I haz teh dum. I see a rubber grommet on the tailgate. I prefer to feed my coax through there from the interior. How on earth do you get at the other side!?

Someone pwn the dumb jeep n00b.

I put mine through that grommet on the outside then stuck a straightened clothes hanger and fished the coax through the tailgate and out the inside with the 3rd brake light wires. Then took the black trim off the inside of the tailgate and hid the coax inside there with the wires. Then out the hinged side of the tailgate next to the nylon webbing covering the 3rd brake light wires and under the carpet from there.

Great minds think alike! That's just about what I just finished doing. I didn't route it through the black plastic cover, though; it's just running under the carpets. I'll have to modify that in Phase II.

There's a Phase II because I'm completely out of PL-259 connectors, dammit. So much for what I usually call Ye Welle-Stocked Junque Boxe...

I would recommend running your antenna cable up the roll bar vs the floor. I did it on mine that has the sub. -->https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/jk-w...2012-a-231369/
