I have not installed a beauty ring. Just take extra time and sand around the edge and use the lip of the CB.

It looks Great Im glad you got it in there with no issues. Let me ask you this though were did you get the piece to hang your Mic on???

this totally changed my mind from wanting to install the 75 to wanting this setup. the 75 i am concerned withe the all-in-one setup, lack of swr meter, speaker, sound, etc.

that said....anyone find a trim ring and have a part number? i went to the Car Toys site and looked at several rings and couldn't figure out which one is shown in the pics

I went ahead and mounted my external speaker. I ran the wire along the windshield frame and down the pillar into the glove box.

Thank you for the idea and helpful pics. Here is my take on the same idea. I used only a drill and jigsaw because I don't have a dremal. It's not installed completely yet as I am waiting for my antenna and coax.

I will definitely need a cd face trim piece as I messed up doing where the side screws on the cb slide in ( the little black screws not the silver knob screws). Thanks again.
