Default Cooltech cb kit

So, I just pulled the trigger on the entire kitten kaboodle. Cobra rado, bracket, coax, antenna, and an antenna quick disconnect. Anyone want to chime in and give me some install advice?

Hardest part is drilling the hole for the antenna mount. Take your time....measure twice (or three times) cut once.

Make sure to use a SWR meter to tune your antenna once everything is installed.

It's a great kit and super clean install!

Like everyone said above. Easy instal just take your time. I transferred the paper template to some card stock to give it a little more strength. I also cut the hole smaller and used the dremel and slowly increased the size till the mount fit through.

make sure you sand the washer mount area inside the tail light area really good ... helps if you have a small goose neck mirror and flashlight handy to check you progress ..

$250.90 (2 day shipping) but I also ordered a quick disconnect for the antenna because killeen is a high theft town.
