I did the Cool Tech license plate mount. It's relatively cheap, it comes with the mounting bracket, coaxial cable, and the antenna. The only hole you have to drill is into the plastic license plate mount. I like how it looks. The antenna is very accessible if you want to take it off and then put it on just when you go wheeling and really need it. I have found that the antenna is the perfect length to fit on the dash board. And the Cool Tech mount grounds the antenna well. The installation instructions are easy to follow. All in all, I am very pleased with the function and looks of this antenna install.
