I just got mine from M-Offroad and it says they work with hardtop but they don't. It hooks over the footmans loop and there is no way to latch the freedom top with it there. Now I need to get back with them to see what the story is.

Anyone have any ideas?

I spoke with the tech support at M-Offroad today and they found out that, indeed, Jeep changed the latching design in 2009 to latch on the footman's loop rather than in the center of the two sides of the Freedom top. They will be changing their web site to reflect the model years applicable to this bracket. They are taking mine back. So, I will have to invent something.

Not to hi-jack the thread (but I will)

Watch the center footman loop - it was pop riveted in place on my 2008 and will work free once any torque is put on it.

Nothing a couple of correctly sized sheet metal screws won't fix, but don't let the CB come crashing down because Chrysler did not intend this loop to bear the weight of a CB.

Here you go. Very simple. Flat aluminum and 4 bolts.
