Default Or Fab Rear Tire Carrier With CB Antenna

Is anyone running the Or-Fab Rear tire carrier and have the CB antenna mounted on the tab that is on the tire carrier?

Would appreciate some pics and install tips - I'm new to the CB world.

Thanks!

I think you can just use a regular stud mount.

Make sure you grind a little of the paint off were the stud makes contact for a better ground

Default Old Thread!

I just bought a brand new Cobra 75 today for $25. I'm ordering a 3' Firestik II and I want to mount it to the tab on my Or-Fab tire carrier. Are there others ways to hide the wires other than the pictures in this thread? I'd like to keep it as neat as possible back there. Any suggestions would be much appreciated!
