Im trying to deceide where to mount the antennas on a 09 Sahara.
Im thinkign about the Cool Tech for the cb and was thinking about mounting a Comet SBB 224 dual band antenna on the fender.
Any ideas as to who makes a fender mount ?
Also considered using windshield light brackets for the antennas.
Thanks.

Thanks for the replies.
After posting the question, dug in the garage in junk area and found a 3/8X24 mount Iv used in a past installation.
Is there an antenna that would work on a 3/8 X 24 stud?
If so, Iv found one solution
Thanks again.

I got the Diamond K400C. It is a lip mount. Mounted it to the passenger side of the tailgate between the hinges as high as possible. When I got it my intent was to mount it on top of the taigate lip but it has a tab sticking out that prevents it from going there. .rfparts.com/diamond/k400c.html shows a pic. You can see the tab pointing down in the center of the mount. I might take a grinder to the tab and resolve that small obstacle.
Or...TruckSpec TS-102B Side Body Antenna Mount. cableorganizer.com/outlet/DAS-TS-102B.html I considered something like that but could not bring myself to start drilling holes.
Also considered making or modding winshield brackets. Right now I only have a HT, VX-7R at 5W max. If/when I get a mobile rig I don't want 50W within arms reach of me or right in my passengers face. "Out of sight, out of mind."

Keep me posted on what you figure out and or do. I am always open to new ideas. Right now my biggest limitation is the 7' garage door opening. Yeah, I'm one of those.

I'm using a diamond k400snmo mount on the hood for my dual band mobile antenna - works great, and the hood can still be raised without any interference between the antenna and the body or side mirror.
