Default Gotta love ebay.

I ordered a midland 75-822 last week from a highly reputable seller on ebay (electronics supplier) and today the box came. The radio inside in a midland 5001z. I googled the thing and it is cheap! Infact, I paid 83 dollars shipped for the 75-822 and this item sells on the same retailers website for 60 dollar shipped!
I am not a happy camper. I chose the handheld version for a reason. No offense guys but I don't plan using the thing often at all and I can't get over the looks of the big units in the jeep.
I am awaiting the idiots reply. Sure it will be corrected but the wait sucks.

Its getting harder and harder to find a steal on eBay...you have to do alot of research and make sure you pay less than you can get it elsewhere...including shipping...if you can wait on something then maybe its worth it, but if only to save a few dollars, just buy it on the net, instant gratification...

Well, the seller responded fast. Claim to be fedex overnighting me the right CB with the return label for this incorrect one. If it's true, I am pleased.
Regarding the 'amazon' free shipping. That usually takes 7-10 business days to arrive. Who has the time to wait for that.

i pretty muchuse them for hard to find things... for example, i had to replace a motor mount on my yamaha jet ski... an OEM one was 87 bucks.

found four used ones on ebay for 17 bucks shipped!
