Yes it's a good one! It was a hand-me-down from my father... best kind!!!

So.. here's the picture of the existing set up. In this picture, the radio is NOT hooked up. Just showing the cheapo negative terminal clamp. I had the radio connected under the wing-nut on the negative and under the nut on the positive side.. this is the way the jeep was bought, other than me tightening the negative terminal clamp... I'll reconnect everything this afternoon (and plan to insulate the power wires a bit more) to see if any issues have changed...

 

Yeah that's a pretty cheesy terminal. Remember electricity flows from NEG to POS so your NEG connections need to be just as good as the POS.
