I've had the 75 and a galaxy in my LJ. Plan to add the 520 to my JK. With the classic style you can easily replace the mic. If something is going to fail, it will be the mic, over the many years I've been using CBs I've never had the radio go bad but have had to replace a lot of mics. Let me take that back, when the cobra 75 failed was it the mic or the radio?

Can't beat the clean look of the cobra 75 with the cool tech mount. Sucks that you can't add a PA to it.

Don't know the Uniden. I've had the Cobra 75 for almost 2 years. Still works great. Went with the CoolTech kit. The mic mount on my 2010 JKUS is a little different from the 2013. I used the GateMount with 4' Firestik so the antenna is more protected. About a 4 mile range. Always get an SWR of around 1.3 - 1.0 - 1.3.

Best thing is I can disconnect and store it in the center console and nobody knows I have it (except for the mic hanger).

The think that made not pick the Cobra 75 was the fact that it has no PA connection. I want a PA in the my rig so that's why I'm going with the 520.
