Default Help please, cobra 29 ltd

I have a cobra 29 ltd and I am not getting any static when I have my squelch turned all the way down. I just made an 8 hour drive down I-75 and barely heard any chatter on channel 19. Please help this is really annoying.

Damn. Don't have that on the 75. I still can't figure out what's wrong with it and it's really bugging me

If your having troubles with it try to find a truck stop that has a radio shop or just ask a trucker if you see one they know a lot more about CBs then other people because they use them daily.

Going to go tomorrow. Trans Canada highway goes right through my town so the guys at the truck stop should know what's wrong.

You want to find a good balance between gain and squelch when adjusting. Turn the gain up some and then turn squelch up until static and then turn it back just a hair so that there is no static
