Need to find a place for my dual band.
From the pics it looks like his Jeep is a soft top.

Hmm, I do not have one to test on. How much space is between the top and the rollbar?

I considered it and found that it won't work with hardtop. Eventually I threw a longitudal support attached to the plastic (my radio is not heavy).

But this design was the other inspiration, except that I was unable to find suitable shelving sttock, so I used aluminum. Aluminum is much easier to cut and bend anyway.
