The center was made with 2 punches, a 1-1/4" and a 3/4" punch. It took a couple templates to get the center to fit just right and then the outside was a simple trace.
Thank you for the template, much appreciated

This is a close up of the connection. The CB comes with a plate that has a hole the size of the connector and a rubber grommet. You push the connector through that grommet to secure it. What I did was took that "hook thingy" and cut the hook off and drilled a hole through it so that the gommet could be used in the plastic part.

Yes, almost too simple for how clean it turns out.

The pannel basically just pulls off with 1 hitch. You need to pull the tray out that is cenered under the radio. If you have power window then I am not sure how you pull the switches out that are in this spot but if you have the tray then it just pulls out easy. Then once the tray is out you will see a single screw that is securing the bottom of the sterio bezzel in place. You need to remove this screw so that you have some wiggle room to move the panel around as you release the 2 tabs that you will see on either side of that screw. But before you pull the top you need to pull the bottom free. I was able to get a grip on the bottom to pull it off simply by putting my thumb into the power outlet for grip and then pulling out a little, it is only held in by some clips, no screws. Putting the tcase in 4lo helps give some room to work as well.

As for the brain box, It is shown in an earlier post but this photo is the brain sitting behind the AC controls on the right side. I jamed the right mount flange behind the console chasis and ductaped the left flang to the plastic behind it. All wires pointind down.
