You can find SWR/Power meters on line for less than $10. Radio Shack is over priced.

I really could have used this last weekend. Had to go to radioshack. They were the only place nearby. Yeah they are overpriced. Had to buy another coax just to use the stupid thing.

I was able to find one at Fry's for $12.99. Radio Shack is way overpriced.

I tried going to Radioshack and they didn't even have one. Off to Fry's.

I bought an SX20C from Diamond Antenna at Ham Radio Outlet. A bit pricey, but it covers 3.5 to 150MHz so it works for HF, CB, and lo VHF quite well. There's an HRO in San Diego.

It is what it is. I was just trying to help someone out that maybe didn't want to waste the gas if they weren't close to a Radio Shack. There's always something cheaper out there and if I can ever return the favor by helping you guys sell something just let me know. Oh, those tires you're running - I know where you could have got them for $50 each

Just so you guys know, swr/power meters can be extremely precise and intricate pieces of equipment with good ones costing hundreds of dollars. You REALLY get what you pay for in electronics.

The Radio Shack in town didn't have any, and neither did the local Fry's. Good thing the place I bought my antenna and coax from will tune it for no charge!
