Default Ham radio

I haven't decided which radio I'm going to install yet but did complete my antenna install. I only went with a quarter wave fender mount for now. Its not to best of mobile options but it works good enough. Just a neat clean and not over noticeable.

Terrific looking installation! I'd be interested in know what console that is as well or if you built it yourself. I've built three overhead consoles over the years and getting ready to start a new one for my Kenwood TM-281A.

Here you go. Fairly simple. Kind of wish I still had this one. Has a bank of switches in front of the rear box. I forget what radio that was but I didn't like it. Yeasu I think. Working on concepts for the JK now.

Got it all figured out! It's really near. Great for wheeling I can tell already. Wish more 4x4 people would make the switch. Don't know how many emergencys could be avoided if the people just had at least 2m/440

WOW, nice setup... Do you have any drawings on this? Or maybe more detailed photos?

I have been thinking how I can get my radios installed and outta the way...
