Default Placed order for new CB Radio & Antenna

While I'm fairly new/uneducated to the CB world, I have used them before and know some stuff about them.

I went with the Uniden PRO520XL along with a K40 57" Whip Magnet Mount Antenna. While the Uniden PRO isn't the top of the line CB, I didn't need all the bells and whistles. Also the antenna includes 18" of coax cable, so I'm pretty sure I'm all set and don't need anything else. I'm aware of the SWR rating standard and that a meter would help, but I can bring it to the local audio place near me and they will take care of me if anything....

Now, I know everyone says they don't work as good as "metal to metal" mounts, but I'm no trucker and I'm not some avid CB talker. For the trails and occasional talks while out and about, it will serve it's purpose.

Anyone else know of any items missing that I need? Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Yea, its just for the trails and goofin' around when in town or taking some semi-long trips.... So yea, I should be fine.... Was gonna go the FireStik route, but again - whatever.....its just for basic communication.

Thanks for the offer Jord....if I end up needing it, we'll meet up for a drink or 10 and figure it out.

schedule is all over the place. Night, day, night, day, night. 2 Interviews this week. I also coach little league football 3 nights a week, with games on the weekend. Debating right now whether to put the body armor on now or go to the gym.

Stumbled across this video of some jeep @ Rausch Creek on a black trail.....

NYC Jeep Club @ Rausch Creek Black Trail - YouTube

As I'm watching, I said...."WAIT A MINUTE!? THAT LOOKS DAMN FAMILIAR!". How about you guys? Know what I'm talking about? I don't think any of us can forget that lovely debacle.....
