Default quick question about firestik quick disconnect

hey I have a firestik 2 and a firefly antenna that I just got my firestik quick disconnect for. I tuned the firestik2 and got the swr by my meter down in the 1.1-1.2 range across pretty much all the channels, so IM asking ahead of time so I know about what to expect, what will this quick disconnect do to my swr reading? should I be looking for it to make my antenna electrically long? or will it just make the reading go up across all channels? I have searched the net and the forum and havent found (not saying its not out there) the exact answer to this question however I have found that you can make an antenna longer by adding a spring so IM going to guess its the same?

Thank you

Michael

yes, the quick disconnect will make your antenna electrically longer. You should perform another SWR reading once you have it installed and adjust as required.
