I went with the Cobra 75 (yet to be installed). There's a ton of write ups on the forum about them. I ordered from right channel radios. Good price and great customer service.

Cobra 29LTD Bluetooth cb. This is my 3rd cb and my last. It syncs with my smart phone and I love it.

Sweet thanks for the advice. One more question; a buddy recommended I buy a hand held cb for the price and convenience. Has anyone had any experience with those?

If I had a 2010 or older I would get a full sized cobra and mount it like FresnoJK showed in the above post... not sure I would go for the blutooth but I would get at least the 25LTD classic... I use a all in one handheld (midland 75-822) and it works for the trail (I run it to a 3' firestik on the tire carrier) but was pretty flaky trying to tune it. I had a much harder time tunning the midland than I did with my friends Cobra Blutooth, Cobra 29LTD, or my even my friends Cobra 19DX. I had to purchase a SWR meter for $20 more and I can't keep an eye on my SWR as easily as people with built in meters can. Also with the setup like Fresno has you can just put quick screws on the sides of the CB and unscrew it and take it out when you are not using it.

If they eventually make some mounts like that for the 11-12 interior I will probably buy a Cobra 25LTD classic and use my midland as a handy talky
