I used a computer PCI slot cover, its held by one of the radio screws behind the plastic, it works in a way similar to the Toad's bracket. If you want I can take more close-up pics so you can see how I did it. It's pretty sturdy and it was basically free

Is a dual band HAM radio. Sorry but this one will not work with CB's I'm in the process of getting a CB also since most of the jeepsters have one.

I can still give you the info on the setup if you want.

I took my cue from truckers... the mike hanging up out of the way using a hook available at any truck stop. Since I only use the CB on the trail, the somewhat restricted view out the rear view mirror is not that big of a deal. I could of used a small bungee cord and hung it lower, but i prefer it higher up and not banging into the mirror....

look into a "gear saver" at your local truck stop. it is a spring load bungee that us truckers use. it will "reel" itself back up as soon as you let go of it and hang in the spot where you have yours now

I am really considering this CB, but not too sure and havent seen anyone using this one. Is this a good one to buy. Your mounting is super nice and it stows out of the way. Something I am looking for as well. Any Input is greatly appreciated.
