Since I only use the CB on the trail, the somewhat restricted view out the rear view mirror is not that big of a deal. I could of used a small bungee cord and hung it lower, but i prefer it higher up and not banging into the mirror....

I use the same hook, I just hang it off of the handle above the glove compartment. It works for me
