I installed the Cobra 75 box inside of my soundbar and ran the mic cable out of the soundbar housing. Good place to hide it but it sucks to get to when you need to get to it.

If you look closely you'll see my Uniden 520XL attached to the panel to the right of my steering wheel. Never have a problem with it being in the way

Default Mounting places for CB

I am trying to find a good spot to mount my CB. I want it to be somewhat unobtrusive, but not sure if this possible. Any ideas and pics of yours?

I think a lot of it has to do with the model CB that you want and other modifications. I chose a Cobra 18 and I also replaced my base stock radio at the same time.

Wow, I consider myself pretty savvy with electronics, but I had no idea that they had integrated radio/cb's. That is awesome. Where did find this? Thanks.
Edit- ha I see now- thats two separate units .Great idea!

Mine is above the rear view mirror.
I stuck my inverter behind the panel beneath the glove box... If it's a smaller CB unit you could use that spot also.
Another common location is on either side of the center console, but I don't like how it intrudes in the footwell.
You could also get a unit that you just plug into the 12v outlet and has the CB built into the handheld mic so it's all one portable unit you can stash away when you aren't using it.
