Xerofall, were you able to route the wires behind the dash somewhere where they are unseen? I guess u did lol, cause I cant see them but, was it a pain?

I mounted mine behind the shifter.

Thanks, the only thing I have done since is add a bracket on the right for the CB mic. Works like a champ.

It's not a cheap solution but if you replace the center console with the full length Tuffy security console, that comes supplied with a CB mounting bracket. I've got the center console all in nicely but can't show you a picture of the CB mounting yet as I haven't decided which CB unit to buy.

I think it will be a neat mount though as there is additionally a grommetted hole in the side of the metal console to feed out the mike cable etc.

Yep, all the wires are under the dash, it was actually one of the easiest installs, no pain at all.

Thanks for all the input folks. I think Im gonna go with the glovebox install. I will post some pics as soon as I get it done. Gonna put on the 2.5 Pro Comp kit first.

Eeh Toad I got mine in the box and I can hear loud and clear but I had to cut the bottom of the box out

they broke out my side window and stolen mine so whatever type of electronics you put in i would try and hide the best you can
