You can hide it but the antennae is a dead give away that something is inside.

I installed my Uniden 510 on the top side of the soundbar. It is pretty much out of site, easy to hear and once you get used to the controls being backward, works well for me.

Cheflee- thats a great idea, where u able to run the wires inside the rollbar fabric. Has anybody ever heard of someone hooking up the cb thru the jeeps speakers. Can this be done?

I started with a Blue Sea System six fuse block installed behind the glove box. This made the power wiring quite easy, right out the side of the glove box and tucked under the passenger's floor trim, and up the door trim. The power cables then flow right under the roll bar pad behind the passenger door and up and out right above the passenger's head. There is a decent sized slot there that the last 12" or so of wire tucks nicely into.

The coax cable was as easy too. It comes in the rear just under the bar for the rear soft top window, under the carpet and then up the roll bar to come out the same spot as the power cables, just above the passenger's head.

Here are some pics:

Wires out from under dash and along floor

Best pic I could bet of the channel in the sound bar with the soft top up

And the coax from the antenna
