That's not a bad idea......but we'd all have to get together to see what would be a good time for everybody....as well as what day, or everyday, or just evenings, etc... Then we would also need to find a freq. that wasn't being used for a different net at that particular time. Even though it can be an informal net, there is a bit that goes into running one. But I'm game if you guys are....

Hey guys....now that there are a few more new general class HAMs on the bands that can use 20m, maybe we should try and set up and "ongoing" sked. An ongoing sked means it's set for everyday, and whoever is around and wants to show up, can. If not, no big deal. I say sked on 20m because it's usually the easiest and most reliable band for long distance contacts.

Would be a great place to talk radios and jeeps....

What ya thinK?

Ok 20m sounds good to me, once I finish the radio install and figure out how to turn it on.

Did a sked ever happen? I was out of town and away from Jeep and radio. 14.275? USB, LSB, AM? I will tune up the antenna this evening and check in during my commute.

The problem is my commute is about 3:00pm your time. Eastern time zone is a bit off kilter to you.

However we should attempt to set something up.

I will use 14.275 USB tomorrow on the commute home and do a CQ for any Jk,s. Who knows who we will be able to talk too.

I put this in the other thread but I will copy it here too. I will be listening on 14.275 USB until I either need to change freqs or I hear another JK...starting in about an hour.
