Default speed calibration km/h to mph

If I re-calibrate my speed sensor with an aftermarket computer to adjust my dash from km/h to mph using the correct ratio, will it have a negative impact on the rest of the systems on the car.

as long as you are using that is deisgned for your vehicle i wouldn't think any harm will come from it.

Default Accu Pro

I'm thinking of using an ACCU PRO unit. Will that screw with my car in any way. If the speed coming out of the ACCU PRO to the vehicle's systems isn't the same as the actual speed... (I have a 6SPD Manual JK)

Strikes me that you might also open yourself for odometer tampering if you record miles on an odometer marked KM.

If you want an imperial readout, might the use of a GPS meet your needs?

hi sv650... i might call myself cbr600rr hehee

Naw, not interest in GPS. Just want to know if the vehicle will perform poorly if the wheel speed is inaccurately read by the car's computer.

I'm also considering the Hypertech Max Energy #52001

see: http://www.4x4rockshop.com/prodimage...gy_jk_dyno.jpg

good for rear axle ratio 5.13 conversion which will give me a very clsoe approx of km/h to mph 3.21/5.13 =~ 60mph = 100km/h

+fuel economy and more hp apparently... (yeah right)

Will the Max Energy for 375 make up for the 150$ difference in fuel savings over 2 years?
