SWR help needed!
IF you go to the rightchannelradios web site they have some good install information and video's to help as well.
scamp71, before you do anything make sure that you have the connectors at the antenna end in the correct order, click here to see, and that everything is good and tight. It's hard to tell, but I had the cable end (firering) upside down at first and my SWR would not go below 3. Since flipping it over and tightening it down, I now have 1.2 across the board. It's worth a shot just to try flipping it before you go through a bunch of grinding. Hope this helps. It drove me crazy for months till I did this. I have a spare tire bracket set similar to yours.

The antenna ground was indeed the problem. Got the powder coat sanded off the TF tire carrier bracket and tuned it. Now have 1.1 to 1.3 SWR readings across the entire band
Thanks for the help all!
