Default Teraflex CB Mount Sheared Off Bolt

That is right, I take the stupid award for today. Completely over tightened and sheared of the head of the bolt in the tailgate! How do I extract the bolt out of the hole now?

Easy take it to a shop and have them tack weld another bolt on the broken one and then just unscrew!

Update: Went to Ace this morning and got an extraction kit. Started nice and slow into the bolt. The head was almost biting then snap...the extraction bit sheared off into the bolt. Had to laugh a little. So took the kit back to Ace and got a cheap screw extractor and a punch. I lined the punch up and gave it a whack or two. Then I used the new screw extractor. That finally popped out the head of the first extraction bit that sheared off. I was left with a sweet hole in my bolt. So I flipped the second extraction bit around to the extraction side and the bolt came right out!

1. Don't buy the all in one extraction bits. Get the kits with drill bits and separate extraction bits.
2. Don't over tighten!

The Teraflex CB Mount is on and ready for the antenna
