If Im not mistaken, the plugged hole your refeering to is where the clutch would come thru.
Mines an auto, so I could use that to access the engine compartment.

Gosh you guys are way smarter than me. I never thought to mount it to the underside of the seat. I have a TM-D710 and a TM-V71A installed under each seat, but I simply screwed the mounting bracket into the carpet. It works fine and is surprisingly stable, but with the doors off you can see the radios... not ideal.
With it mounted on the underbottom of the seat, is it hidden from view with the doors off?
