Question Question for Cooltech customers

The interior of my 2-door is completely Line-X'd, so I have not a stitch of carpet to hide any cable under.

For you guys who have the Cooltech LP antenna mount: is the supplied 18' coaxial cable long enough that I will be able to route it from the LP mount all the way to the front of the interior and across the header via the ROLL BAR PADDING so I can install a CB above the rear view mirror?

Thanks for the input.

Thanks for the input, fellas. I will give it a go and report back with how my final routing goes.

I have a 4-door and had to get a 6 foot cable to make it work.

Thinking about using the same system on mine.
I take it you used a barrel connector to connect the coax.
How well did it match after the install?
Im also wondering if using a 102" antenna and spring will work with the Cool Tech mount.
Iv got two or three in the garage.
Thanks.

Unless Cool Tech has decreased the length of coax that they give you in their kit, I easily mounted the antenna in the license plate and routed the coax through the roll bar padding, mounting the CB at the rear view mirror. I had a couple of feet of coax to spare. And I have a 4 door!

Utah, that's great news. That's the way I'll have to route my cable since my interior is Line-X'd. Thanks for the positive vibe, I've go hope now!

I ran mine from the right sided bumper mount thru the padding on the roll cage to the front passenger side, into the molding along the a pillar on the side of windshield and into the unit loacted under the glove box near the console.\

Length is not an issue for me,...
