I thought about one, but didn't want to block the sky view when the top was off. Sort of defeated the point of owning a jeep a bit.

 

yea well with the top off and the doors off would your really miss a strip a foot wide down the middle ...

 

you would be surprised how much it closes the cab up.

 

Do you have one in your jeep ?

 

I did have 1, kept hitting it with my head, and when I turned right, it felt like that's all I could see.

 

Mine is on it's way. Just ordered from Northridge.

yes--i've hit my head once or twice but not too much damage done(to my head, not the box. it was not as bad as i thought it was going to be with obstructing the view--it's sorta like a T-Top!

it's sturdy and very well build. im gonna put a cobra 75 in it with the mic mounted on the side.

i keep my GPS registratin documents & sunglasses. stuff i don't want stolen.

Will do. It may take a bit to get it installed and the pics up once it arrives. i bought it and a few other odds and ends to add to my parts pile that i am building up for any potential "down time" i may have during my man-ternity leave. Our soon to be first born is due any second now and i'll have a couple/few weeks off work when she decides to show herself.
i hope i'll be able to squeeze in some garage time in but i may be kidding myself
