My antenna is not super tall and has never had the swr tuned or anything. I cannot go past a couple miles with it. But it is clear on the trail and on the road for the stuff I need. If it was tuned I guess it would go a lot further but I don't need it.

cool i was just thinking that because my uncles hunting club has like a 7 mile long road it could be flooded or its always sugar sand if i had a cb or sumthing since there no cell coverage i couldd radio for some help
