The great thing about the 75 is that you can hide the bulk of the radio and still have all of the controls easy to reach. Not many places to comfortably put a normal CB in the JK. With the 75 you just need a spot for the microphone.

I love the adjustability of the 29. Currently I am using an aftermarket noise canceling mic (works better when the top is down and door off) and couldnt be happier.
I had a midland 75-822 and my experience with that radio made me afraid to try the 75 (seems like almost the same setup, maybe not, but I wasnt going to take the chance)
I only use the cb when I wheel so I have it mounted to the back of the center console with a long velcro strap, and I remove it in between trips.

Do you like radios? If you just want a CB to use on the trail and no where else the 75 is a good option.
But if you really like radios and willl use it off the trail get the 29, it's an excellent CB.
And I don't know what it is about there not being anywhere to mount a CB in the JK, Jeep left you the best possible spot.

At first I thought the 29 would be too big to fit in the JK ... but with a Roadworks x-large bracket, it fits nicely on the side of the console, out of the way yet still within easy reach.
The Bluetooth connection to the cell phone works great also.
