I have it installed between the front seats on the ORF roll bar, but you could also attach it to the sound bar. I also like Bullfrogs installation of 2 small speakers in the roll bar padding just behind driver and passenger.

Donnie -
Thanks for the pics...that doesn't look too bad. Is that the Inland Empire meet? We won't make that one...will probably be at the OC one though. I'm sure we'll meet up with you in the near future

Here's mine. I reused the Beltronics speaker that came with my Radar/Laser detector. Works and sounds great!

My external speaker is actually internal.
I mounted mine in the center of the sound bar. I'll point it down when I'm on the road. I'll point it towards the back when on the trail.
Some of the trail runs I've been on, the leader will give good pointers for every obstacle through the cb. The newb's never hear it and need to be the ones listening. So, I turn up the volume and face it backwards. Kinda helps everyone out.
Here's what I'm running.

Default Speaker install

I also did the speaker inside the padding. I used Jetstream JTSP1 External Speaker for $8 bucks. I have one mounted above my head for my dual bander and one above my wife for the CB. This way we can hear the Jeep's radio and monitor our individual comms. Very loud and very clear highly recommend it. Also, you can not see the speakers making the wife happy.

Here are some pics of the install.

I have a small MFJ enterprises remote speaker mounted on the rear center of the soundbar. It's on a bracket so you can tilt it forward a bit. It's small about 3"x3", but optimized for voice and works very well, even with the windows down.

Has anybody done this and split the wire to run 2 speakers instead of just the one behind the driver's head?? I'd like to run a second to the passenger seat so my wife isn't always asking "...WHAT did he say??" because the audio is muffled by my big fat head
