Default Where I mounted my CB

I got the kit from quadratec and did what some others are doing and mounted my CB to the footmans loop on top of windshield. Works great and looks clean. I ran power down under dash and did a line split with a line only underpower with key in run postion

In there firmly? No shakes over the bumps?

Really firm no shakes. It was pretty stout with just the P-clamps but I but some velcro on back of CB to the top windshield channel just to be safe, no shakes rattles or rolls. I was worried about the lever for hard top but its not even an issue. Clears just fine

Same CB, same location, only I used some L-bracket misc. hardware parts and spray painted them black. Cost me $4 bucks. No shakes or rattles.
