I am fixing to mount my cb, it is a little O'l thing! I was just wondering where people have mounted theres(pics would be nice)!

 

I have mine mounted above the rear view mirror. Have the Uniden 520 so it's small. Fits nicely bolted through the plastic header above. Sorry, no pics...in getting a lift!

Cobra 75 mounted behind Cool Tech Switch Mount. Note, the switch mount does not fit an auto trans well - the left side cutout bumps the console. As I understand it, they are working on respacing the lower cutout for to better accomodate the auto trans console.

 

Mounted right above the stereo. All wiring (power, remote speaker, PA speaker, antenna) wired down behind stereo.

 

Cobra 75 with the box mounted to the metal bracket under the glove box. The mic quick disconnect is mounted on the panel under the glove box. I have a Cooltech VersaMount microphone mount on order. My antenna mount is on the spare tire carrier (it's a pre-production mount which will be sold eventually through Quadratec). Really clean install all the way around...pics soon.

 

Good timing... just purchased a handheld and wanted to also mount an antenna on the jeep. I have seen the mounts on the tail light and those that have it on the bumper. Is there a need for the antenna to clear the top of the Jeep? Regardless of where I mount it I wasn't sure if I needed an antenna that was so high. Also, anyone have recommendations on what mount to use on a stock JK (stock bumper, etc)?
