I think I'll be stealing Verdulken's mounting idea. Looks very clean. I'm assuming you drilled and ran the wire down throught the Daystar?

 

Yeah, sorry I didn't write a detailed description with pics, sometimes I'm too lazy for that stuff

I ran the cable underneath the passenger door trim up and then behind the glove compartment and up through the front of the radio console and drilled a 1/2" hole in the daystar panel. It actually came out pretty clean since you can't see any of the wires.
