2007 Sahara - No Compass
Hi there, this is my first post here...
Anyway, I have checked three different forums for my issue and no one seems to have anything on it that I have seen. I have a new to me 2007 Jeep Wrangler Sahara 2dr. The in-dash compass on it doesn't work. It's not stuck on a different direction, it's not two dashes. It doesn't turn on, period. As far as I know, the head unit in there is the original one from the factory. I've checked all the fuses (hell, I even replaced the one that controls the compass module to be extra sure), disconnected the battery, etc. I even ordered a brand new Compass Module and replaced the one that mine came with and same thing. The temperature gauge works, as do the other functions of the left set button, but the compass itself does not come on at all, I never see a CAL or VAL come up on it either when I try the re-calibration process.
Has anyone else had this issue? Any tips?
Thank you.
