2008 remote start in a 2007?

My remote start for my 07 doesn't require any wiring. Its hard to get it going and it only works on occasion.
Its also 8 years old and has two legs. I may have to see if the 5 year old model starter will be able to start the jeep.

New Year bump. It's cold and windy out I'd like to know the answer if anyone's got it. Probably not a good sign that everyone who's tried hasn't reported back.

I'd guess around 200-250? I found the 08 version for a low of $189 I think it was from Wyckoff and $235 on ebay and I figure the 07 kit is probably right in that ballpark but I like the 08 kit where the key's have the start button on them.
