Download the file, extract the file and copy to a disk. After the first upload it takes a good 5 to 7 minutes to start the next segement. Here is the shortcut to the instructions. After you finish go foe a ride as it takes a few minutes to get the info from Sirius.http://www.jeepgarage.org/attachment...9&d=1303467173
Thanks!! I will give it a shot tonight.

Just as a "me-too". The ISO worked for me, I now have Travel Link active.

I checked to see if my iPhone 4 would work via the USB cable, unfortunately it still does not work.

Bluetooth sound, when the iPhone screen isn't blanked is still running at double speed... but the source quality seems better to me when it IS blanked.

Otherwise, I haven't noticed any other differences...

Default Still no SIRIUS TRAFFIC!

Ok i did the update it was easy and took about 15 min. A couple of times during the process you just see the black off screen with the time only for minutes at a time, but it is doing it's thing and it kicks back out when the uploads are done.

Travel link is installed but is pretty much useless!
All i wanted was the Sirius TRAFFIC. this was when i bought the jeep and this was my complaint to Jeep when i called this in months ago that it wasnt there!

So does anybody think this will be added in the future?

oh one other thing i noticed is when you direct enter a station on the SAT it goes directly to the station instead of having to push the arrow in the bottom rt corner.

Default travel link

Sirius TRAFFIC is on the 730N radio, we have a 430N, my 2008 had the 730N with Sirius traffic but the gps was not by Garmin and was a better system it would create a trail when I went off roaf to find your way back and showed all BLM and forestry roads.

I know there are different but Jeep still advertised this even when i bought the Jeep! Jeep has changed the site to reflect it different now.

My 430n Shows traveled routes with a blue line it is in the menu options and i have it selected to show! I also can se forest roads too. IDK about BLM but probaly. the update did some things to the MAPS and NAVI systems too but just not sure yet.
Still i am calling today about this will have update later...

Default What a surprise!

Was at the office today and my service advisor called me from my local Jeep dealer. To my surprise she told me the upgrade disk was at their shop and she was calling to schedule me for an appt. I actually had time today so later in the afternoon and after about 30 mins the upgrade was done and Travel Link now works without a hitch. The only issue was getting in touch with SIRIS to activate the service. After some discussion my service was upgraded / combined with my free trial subscription! With the price of gas, it's very cool knowing the price of gas at local gas stations. The weather and forecast features are cool as well. Definately worth the wait to get the upgrade!

Default unbelievable...

I called my dealership (2hrs away) where I purchased my '11 JKU less than 3 months ago asking about this update. The sales guy didn't know anything about it, even the service manager had to research it. He called me back and said if I wanted the update i would have to purchase the CD for $30-40 if he had to guess...c'mon really, this Jeep is less than 3 mos old...ridiculous!
I think I will try to do the download myself since the dealership isn't cooperating.
Has anyone done this update and is running a Lockpick CHR550?
Thx

Okay, gonna be the dumb guy. Can someone explain to me what this is/does? I have a 2010 Rubi with U-Connect system bought July 2010; will this do anything for me?
