Default Access to accessory circuiit?

I have a 2015 JK, and I am putting in daytime running lights. I would like to connect them to the accessory position of the key switch. I found an electrical diagram online, but it doesn't show the key switch. Is there any thing I can tap into under the hood? If not, is there an easy place inside?

Do you actually need them to be connected to the ACC circuit? Or, would you be OK with having them connected to the RUN circuit?

If you don't have heated seats, you can use a fuse tap in those slots. They are hot when the key is in the RUN position.

RUN would work. I do have heated seats, but I should be able to tap into the RUN side of the heated switch. Thanks!

See if M9 is empty. That is for rear heated seats, which you may not have.

Perfect, M9 was empty, and I modified a fuse by soldering a wire on one side, so I could tap into that circuit, and have a fused line to the DRLs.

Thanks!

A fuse tap would be a clean way to do it.

Pretty slick install. I had never seen a "fuse tap" before.

I put the fuse in so the wire I soldered on was on the side that went to the rear heated seat, so the wire was protected in case of a short.
