I want these lights that Mopar sells that are on the top portion of the bumper but I see that the picture shows a bumper w/out fogs...so my dilemma is if I put them on my JK can I legally just tap into the fogs and have all 4 come on at once...has anyone done something similar??...thanks

as for legality, it will depend on your states vehicle codes. MD only allows 2 additional lights (headlights +2) to be used at one time. you'll have to check MA's codes.

 

I would think you would need to run a relay to get them to work since people are having issues just running a higher wattage bulb. You would tap into the stock harness for the relay and use it to turn on the extra lights.

 

Sorry guys the Mopar site takes so long to load and I was on break yesterday so when tryng to edit the post my time was up, anyway these lights are square and sold by Mopar, jeepnyar has them , anyway thanks for the replies...

 

Being Sunday and again thinking about which lights I should add to the bumper I came across these "hard top" lights....has anyone installed these?...


I wonder if they would look strange on top of the bumper?...

 

That thing looks like a cats eye reflectors on the interstate. It might look better on the bumper.
