Here are a few night shots

Just lights and fogs

22 light bar

52 bar

Both

They look similar...photos don't do it justice. ..I wanted the 22 to be more of a trail driving light and the 52 to be more hunting. It is aimed more up.

Kevin

Just saw your reply, I love the SR series from Texas Liberty LED. Great customer service from the owner...he won't sell what he wouldn't put on his own jeep. He now carries the Aurora lights...they look great but I love my SR's. I have some other bumper lights from another vendor here....while they are nice I want to go ahead and match all my lighting so more Texas Liberty LED's I go.

I also just bought a UTV...we are going to mount a 40" SR light bar on that and a pair of dully 2x2's rear facing. Gonna be fun!!!

Ya I want to try to keep my buisness in Texas. I really like the single row lights. The SR22 is the size that fits in the poison spider hood mounts? Did you have to do any alterations to the mount? Where in Texas are you from? Sorry for all the questions.

Not a problem at all, I am in Keller. The Poison Spider mounts have around 2 inches total of mounting adjust-ability (in our out). It is clear to me they are made for a wide range of product lengths in and around 22". The Texas Liberty SR 22 is really 22.5 mount to mount and it's a perfect for the Poison Spider Mounts. You will have to drill out the mounting slot (hole) for left and right side of the brackets. The bolt diameter is a tad larger than the slot on the PS mount. It will only take a few seconds to mount the PS to the hinge bolts. Use the supplied bolts and you are done. If your hinge is painted (I am sure it is) just use a larger breaker bar as the bolt is painted, go slow and use constant pressure as to not mar the paint around the hinges. mounting to the hood hinge will take only a few seconds. Lightly Snug it up so you can center the light bar and then once set, tigten down the hinge bolts Use the rubber gromet supplied with the PS kit and you will be good to go. I like the fact that the PS mounts also have tiny slots machined out for a zip ties on the driver side...that was really smart. Be sure to buy the wiring harness from David too..you don't need the longer one just the basic. He also offers the pillar mount switches. total time to install was about 1 hour. Make it super clean 1.5 hours.

David may start carrying the PS mounts now, after all that design was bought from the original owner. Smart move if you ask me. I was kind of the test mule if you will but in the mean time you can pick them up direct if needed. Well worth the price.

If you need close up shots of the mount let me know i can get those for you. Took me 10 mins to drill out the larger hole for the light mount bolt size.

You mean the Rock Slide mounts? If so yes, I did but I also took them off. If you want them I can give you a deal on them. Rock Slide needs to adjust their process a little. They need to shave a 1/2 inch arch where the bracket meets the A Pillar and the Cowl.

I tried to use my bench grinder to make mine work better but I ended up trying a set of Rugged Ridge Mounts. There are pro's and cons to each set up.

The Rock Slide brackets look great and hold the light more up and away thus less noise...the Rugid Ridge brackets come with a rubber gasket you cut out to keep the metal off metal. They also hold the light tighter to the roof line thus it can produce more whistle noise. Ahhhh...new problem, no really, I have a fix for that.

I went to my local bike shop and bought a brake cable for a MT Bike and cut it into the pieces needed to fill the gap just over the lens of the SR light bar. I used a hot glue gun and set a piece of brake cable in that gap...solved 99.5% of the whistle and only took me 30 min of time.

I can also get close ups of that too if needed.

The thing you will want to do regardless, is going to Autozone and buy 2 rolls of door drim and put that door trim on every cooling fin of the light bar. That will stop all the noise from the fins "singing". This is a problem for EVERY light bar who has cooling fins regardless of brand. I have solved it by trial and error.

that said, the hood light you need not do anything but mount it...it needs nothing, the wind spills over it and thus you will notice no wind whistle or singing what so ever.
