Default Arm rest box Light??

Anyone else find it hard to see what your looking for in the center arm box? I want to put a light with a pin switch so it lights up when I open the lid. Has this been done if so where to tap into for the light?

All you need is a 12V LED light and a plunger switch..similiar to the ones used for the hood in Alarm systems..

Or buy one of those stick up lights that are powered by a AAA battery. They sell in pack's of 3 and are really bright. Add velcro and your good to go.

Adding this to my mod list. Might do it this weekend. I'll get pics and post a write-up if there isn't one here already.

This is what I bought last night to do my mod with. Right now the plan is to use one in the center console and one in the glove box. We'll see how it goes though. May change my mind and skip the glove box and use it under the radio as a maplight instead.
