Yup looks just like the picture in the quickstart. I'll need to do some research to find out what is needed to make this all work.

I would be willing to bet that the 11's do not have the software or the prewired I/O to make this an addition. You could buid this out of a 12v photocell and some relays. But without an actual switch setting, it would be a little ackward to opperate.

I have an '11, it does come in the Rubi and Sahara. This is the only option I would like to add to my sport.

Default Automatic Headlamps

I was looking into this as well. I have a 2009 Sahara and was following this from the Challenger forum:

This may help. Granted it is for a Challenger, but the wiring is basically the same. From the sensor on top of the dash, the wiring runs through the heater controls for some reason for both the headlights and temp control. The only thing I can figure is the the HVAC controls provide a hookup for the canbus for the signals to be generated to the TIPM.

Resurrected to ask:

Did anyone ever find out more about this? My ''11 Rubi has this feature, but the wife's '12 Sport (picked it up last night) does not. In Ohio, there is a 'headlights on with wipers' law, so I'd like to add it to hers if possible.

No I haven't had the time or $ to really look into this. Anyone happen to have a PDF of the 2011 or 2012 complete service manual with part labels? Could help.
