I have an 08 JKU and at the time in 2008 the "trend" was to pull the stock amplifier out and put in the Dodge Nitro amplifier which had a little bit better sound and power. Recently, I've been getting B1477 check engine code which is Channel 5 Audio Speaker Output Circuit Open. If I move the balance all the way to the rear there is almost no music playing. Only the front seems to be working. I am assuming the amplifier has finally went after 14 years. I'm looking for a fix or a cheap replacement. It seems like this amp is on Ebay for $100 and I'd rather not spend that right now. I can't seem to find it new on RockAuto or anything.

Any troubleshooting or does anyone have the old stock amplifier that could be a direct replacement for me? Thanks in advance.
